Vibration sensing: Shear-mode soft PZT components for vibration sensors and accelerometers.
Sensing at temperature: High-temperature grades for oil-well logging and for vibration and pressure sensors in aerospace and power-plant engines. TRS 203HD operates to 300 °C and TRS BT200 to 350 °C.
Actuation: Soft PZT for valves and other actuation.
Non-destructive testing: Single-crystal composite transducers, which TRS has published on for ultrasound NDE.
